John Smith
John spent half his childhood in Japan as an Air Force “Brat”. He grew up traveling and has moved over 50 times during his life. He loves nature and the outdoors as well as art, reading, cooking and woodworking. He finished Marine Corps Marathon twice and has been actively involved in coaching youth sports including soccer, baseball, rugby, and wrestling. He enjoys time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He is planning a trip around the world in the near future and a through hike on the AT. Favorite line – “When 40 million people believe in a dumb idea, it’s still a dumb idea.” Enjoy Life! – it has an expiration date.
Adrienne Fama
Adrienne Fama is a Lecturer of Spanish at Clemson University. Prior to Clemson, she taught middle- and high-school Spanish at an urban college preparatory school in the city of Chicago and also taught English in Nantes, France. She earned a Master’s degree in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a teaching certificate from Northwestern University. In her free time, Adrienne is an avid reader and traveler. She has visited over two dozen countries.
